Manoranjan “Mano” Mahadeva of Plano is the chief financial officer of Preferred Dermatology Partners. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. Additionally, he is a member and past president of the Plano Metro Rotary Club. Mahadeva received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from The University of Texas – Dallas and a Master of Business Administration in Management from Texas A&M – Commerce University.
Alicia joined our company as our Practice Administrator in 2017, after serving as the Office Manager of one of our satellite locations for 17 years. In 2020 Alicia was elected Vice President of Operations and continues to assist in the growth and ongoing operational success of the company’s business initiatives by leading collaborative efforts with healthcare partners on strategic and operational issues, providing oversight and guidance to departmental operations such as Human Resources, Credentialing, and Compliance. She works regularly with the leadership team, physicians and patients to build relationships, monitor performance, improve processes, solve problems, and capitalize on opportunities to strengthen the company.
Alicia completed her bachelor’s degree at the University of North Texas. She has also received an Associates of Applied Science at North Central Texas College and is currently working towards her master’s of Business Administration.
Alicia serves on the Benchmarking Committee for the Association of Dermatology Administrators and Managers.
Dr. Matthew D. Barrows is a board-certified Dermatologist specializing in general dermatology as well as skin cancer detection, prevention and treatment. He opened his first practice in 1996 and then later expanded to multiple locations throughout North Texas. He is considered a foremost expert in the field of dermatology and is known for his expertise in performing Mohs micrographic surgery, a highly specialized procedure used to remove cancerous lesions from the skin. His dermatology practice is equipped with the latest advancements in laser technology to treat common skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, and eczema, as well as cosmetically in the form of laser skin tightening and laser skin resurfacing. His team of skilled and trained practitioners are able to diagnose, treat, and maintain countless everyday skin conditions effectively and safely.
As the Executive Chairman, George McGinn assists the company’s management team with developing strategy. He has over 30 years of healthcare experience in the development, acquisitions and growth of publicly-traded and private equity-backed companies. Prior to joining Preferred Dermatology Partners in 2018, George held senior management positions in high growth companies in dermatology, oncology, ambulatory surgery, pharmacy and distribution and was instrumental in positioning those companies for future success. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1977, served as an officer in the United States Marine Corps until 1983, and then returned to Vanderbilt University to earn a Juris Doctorate.
