Meet Marissa Bothun, PA-C, at Preferred Dermatology in Rockwall, TX

Marissa Bothun is a Physician Assistant at Preferred Dermatology. She sees patients in our Rockwall location and works closely with Dr. Barrows, acquiring in-depth dermatology and surgical procedures knowledge. She can diagnose, treat, and manage various skin conditions and perform minor mole and lesion removal procedures. She is also certified to prescribe medication as needed.

Marissa graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree. She was then accepted to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, where she graduated with her Master of Health Sciences, Physician Assistant Studies degree in 2010. Since then, she has specialized in female urology, family practice, and dermatology.

Marissa and her husband, Garrett, live in Rockwall and enjoy spending time with their son, Graham, and daughter, Makinley. She enjoys building relationships with patients and is excited to help the Rockwall community.
