Dr. Christopher Hixon is a board-certified dermatologist in our Celina and Rockwall locations. Dr. Hixon attended Virginia Tech, where he obtained his undergraduate degree in pre-medicine and his graduate degree in exercise & health promotion.
Dr. Christopher Hixon went on to earn his medical degree from the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency at Lewis Gale Hospital in Virginia. Dr. Hixon moved to Texas in 2016 with his wife, Jamie, along with their two children, Isla and Knox. Dr. Hixon enjoys forming relationships with patients and getting to know them on a personal level, and continues to see patients in our Anna, Celina, and Rockwall locations.
Dr. Hixon is a graduate of the Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He went on to complete his dermatology training at Lewis Gale Hospital in Blacksburg, VA.
Extensive training in medical and surgical dermatology allows Dr. Hixon to treat patients of all ages. Dr. Hixon has developed a passion for treating psoriasis, eczema, and acne and performing surgical procedures.

When not attending his children’s school or sporting events, Dr. Hixon enjoys spending time playing golf, working out, and doing anything related to classic cars. In his own words: “I have a long addiction to golf, and I enjoy playing when I have the time to do so. I have developed a fascination with classic cars, particularly of the 1950s. I currently own a 1951 Mercury, which I have had the pleasure of enjoying with my wife and kids for the past 5 years.”
