Meet Stephanie Davis, FNP-C, at Preferred Dermatology

Stephanie Davis, MSN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in medical dermatology, aesthetic treatments, and advanced skin care. She is known for delivering comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for both chronic and acute skin conditions, with a strong focus on patient education, prevention, and long-term skin health. Stephanie has extensive experience performing dermatologic procedures including biopsies, cryosurgery, ED&C, dermoscopy, patch testing, neurotoxin injections, PRP for hair loss, and sclerotherapy, and she collaborates closely with physicians and clinical teams to ensure safe, effective, and results-driven care. Stephanie works primarily out of our Celina and Sherman offices and is at our McKinney office monthly.

Stephanie earned her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Texas at Tyler, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her advanced clinical training includes comprehensive diagnosis and management of dermatologic conditions, procedural dermatology, biologic therapy management, and preventive skin health. She holds active FNP licensure in Texas and Iowa, a DEA license, and BLS certification for Healthcare Providers, reflecting her commitment to maintaining the highest clinical and safety standards in patient care.

Stephanie has built a distinguished clinical career marked by leadership in high-acuity healthcare environments, advanced procedural expertise, and consistently high patient satisfaction. She has been recognized for her ability to manage complex patient populations, expand service offerings within clinical practices, and supervise care teams to improve workflow, efficiency, and quality outcomes. Her career demonstrates exceptional dedication to professional growth, including completing her graduate degree while simultaneously working on the front lines of patient care during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling, discovering new cuisines, staying active, and prioritizing overall wellness. Grounded in faith and committed to lifelong learning and personal growth, she strives to help every patient feel confident, refined, and comfortable in their skin. For Stephanie, healthy skin is not about perfection — it is about confidence, balance, and feeling at ease in your own skin, and she considers it a privilege to be part of that journey.
