Dr. Meenakshi (Meena) Manivannan is a board-certified dermatologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centered dermatologic care at our Denton location. She practices general dermatology, treating common skin conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, and alopecia, and offers cosmetic dermatology treatments focused on skin rejuvenation and anti-aging.
Dr. Manivannan also specializes in the prevention, early detection, and treatment of skin cancer, combining advanced clinical expertise with a personalized, evidence-based approach. With particular interests in skin of color dermatology, pigmentary disorders, and chronic skin disease management, she is committed to helping patients achieve and maintain long-term skin health.
Dr. Meenakshi (Meena) Manivannan completed her dermatology residency at Cook County Health in Chicago, where she received extensive training in medical and surgical dermatology in a high-volume, diverse clinical setting. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Paul L. Foster School of Medicine and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society in recognition of her compassionate, patient-centered care. Dr. Manivannan also holds a Master of Public Health from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a Master of Medical Sciences from the University of North Texas Health Science Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, graduating cum laude with University Honors and distinction as an Undergraduate Research Scholar.

Outside of the office, Dr. Manivannan enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations, trying new local restaurants, and spending quality time with her husband, children, and their golden retriever. Having grown up in the Flower Mound area, she especially values serving the North Texas community she has long called home.
